RESUME ANTIBES YACHT SHOW 12-15 APRIL 2012
It’s on a beautiful sunshiny day that Antibes Yacht Show closed its doors Sunday, April 15th, 2012 making it the fourth and final.
Exhibitors have completed the show’s 6th year with a smile. Indeed, 13,380 visitors came to admire the 130 yachts on display. It seems that the changeable weather simply pushed away the curious but did not discourage buyers to come. There was a wide variety of units from15 to 49 meters: motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans, there was a choice for every budget (from € 200 thousand to tens of millions of Euros).
This year, a large number of vessels of 40 meters and plus stood out from the others. They were exhibited by Hill Robinson Yacht Management, Neo Yachting, Blue Navigation LTD, Unique Yachting Monaco, A7 Rent, Gaspard Yachts, K & K Superyachts, International Yacht Collection.
Brokers are pleased to have received as in previous years of quality visits. Some brokers have received offers for purchase or charter. Of course, the weeks or months to come will be more crucial to see these deals to fruition. However, Antibes Yacht Show seems to announce a positive trend for the coming season.
Antibes Yacht Show is the only BROKERAGE, CHARTER and REFIT show in spring in the Mediterranean. Over the last 5 years AYS has had exhibitors from 14 different countries and has featured yachts from 15 to 70m. It has reached the position of being a KEY boat show in the yachting industry.
